Dear Persons,
I’m always amazed when December flips on the calendar and I think, “Wow that went fast!” Here we are again. In looking back it’s been a good year. We went on several road trips and the fall months brought the delight of traveling to South Florida without Gracee and spending time at Michael’s new home, in our very own guestroom! What a treat. The days spent there are special. I busy myself helping Tiana (a chef with a busy job) with laundry, dishes, and being grandma to two adorable pugs! Lowell busys himself with going birding with Mark and riding his ebike, working with Michael. We get to spend time with Marni, Hannah, Maria - it’s an overall wonderful time.
The year saw three new books published! Our mountain memoir, a photo book created with a photographer in The Villages, FL, and “Never Say Amen.” And, in the new year I am compiling a book of devotions for a dear friend. I’ll share that here when it’s available.
2025 will find us seeing our granddaughter Hannah, walk down the aisle when she and Chandler marry on May 17 in Key Largo, FL. Wait for the pictures!
My One More Thing
Is all about Him! The One’s whose birth we celebrate next week. This month I’ve been posting on social media excerpts from my book “31 Days of Christmas.” It’s been a challenge to pull out excerpts from fairly long essays! Jesus is forever the reason for the season and every other day of the year. The older I get the greater Treasure He is.
Enjoy the photos and do have a Merry Little Christmas!
The Hope of Heaven,

Have a blessed Christmas, and enjoy those yummy yams! Some of the prettiest I've seen, and I can just taste them. :-) Love you!
Merry Christmas!
